¡Hola! I’m Jocelyn

I’m a first-generation Guatemalan American, and I know what it’s like to grow up between two worlds. I hold space for you to show up fully — in English, Spanish, Spanglish, or whatever feels right — and help you navigate life with compassion and understanding.

SOMOS

“Somos” means “We are.” Therapy here is about honoring your story, your culture, and the strength that already lives within you.

Virtual sessions offered in English, Spanish, or Spanglish

  • Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve been before, this space honors your uniqueness. You might be a Latinx adult, a first-gen adult child of immigrants, or somewhere along the spectrum of heritage and culture — whether you speak Spanish fluently, feel “no-sabo,” or identify more with American culture. This is a place where your story, your identity, and your voice are understood.

Have you felt like you don’t fully belong?

Maybe you’ve felt anxious, like you people-please, or like you don’t fully fit anywhere. Here, your story is understood without needing so much explanation.

  • For those who have crossed borders, carried responsibility early, or built new lives — your strength is real, and it matters. But being strong for so long can also feel exhausting.

Have you been strong for so long, you forgot how to rest?

You may be carrying anxiety, pressure, guilt, family expectations, or the weight of always having to keep going. Therapy can be a space to honor your resilience while also giving you permission to rest and reconnect with yourself beyond survival.

  • Living between worlds? We see you.
Your culture, language, and lived experiences matter in this space. We honor the ways American and Hispanic/Latinx cultures can intersect, complement, or clash — and create room for all parts of who you are.

You may feel pulled between identities, roles, or expectations — experiencing guilt, boundary struggles, or the pressure of not fully belonging anywhere. Here, all parts of you are welcome.

  • How Does Therapy Work?

Let’s walk through the process together

  • Step 1: Free 15 Minute Consultation

A short, no-pressure video call to connect, share what’s on your mind, ask any questions and see if working together feels like a good fit.

  • Step 2: Schedule your Initial Session

Once we’ve decided to move forward, we can schedule your first session. It will be a safe, collaborative space to share your experiences, explore your goals, and begin your therapy journey.

  • Step 3: Ongoing Therapy

We’ll work together to navigate challenges while celebrating and strengthening the resilience, joy, and skills you already have. Each session is a safe space to explore your story, build insight, and take empowered steps forward.
